18,000 feet is just their service ceiling... These UAVs spend most of their time at altitudes MUCH lower then that.

UAV's will put CAP out of business as well as the 406 mhz

WHat other Missins can CAP provide to the public other than AE? We need to be looking to the future as a backup plan to ensure CAP is not cut to the bone by technology

If a "Manned chase plane" has to accompany ther UAV, why not just put the electronic surveillance gear IN the manned chase plane?

If a manned chase plane has to accompany the UAV, doesn't that negate the advantage of low-profile "stealth" that UAV's have?
