These guys are nuts. I hope and pray that this never happens to our boys and girls in Blue.

That was not an earthquake in California the other day, but, the founding fathers of the Air Force are turning in their graves.


I think that the saying goes something like those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

Like we are never going to need to carpet bomb anyone ever again.


How much do you want to bet it's mainly Army and Navy guys saying this? I will grant that the strategic bombing mission is not really there anymore, although you never know when it will be needed again. And what about the space mission? If nothing else, there are all kinds of space assets that need to be maintained. Sure, the Air Force can probably be restructured, but not eliminated.
