The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is throwing a party this week.
AUVSI’s Unmanned Systems North America 2006 is the World’s Largest Unmanned Systems Symposium and Exhibition. Attendees can view over 175,000 square feet of hardware and static equipment displays, listen to more than 70 presentations that include program updates and technical sessions featuring the latest industry trends and activities, view 40 poster sessions, and interact with the authors, and network with key decision-makers.
:: Now HERE is a conference where CAP should have a booth!
CAP NHQ should buy a booth and hang a big banner, "Cost Effective Alternative to Robots Over America!" (OK, so maybe we could season that a little better, but you get my drift.)
I bet a large percentage of the folks attending this conference are our potential customers, looking to fritter away millions of dollars on un-manned doo-dads.
I say folks from NHQ should wander the conference hotel's lobby like freakin' hare krishnas at the airport and hand out "The Truth About UAVs Over America," brochures to anyone who has HLS, State, or Local government listed on their conference tag. Anyone with USAF, Army, Navy, or foreign IDs gets to be left alone.
I'm glad you asked... I am waging a one-blogger jihad against UAVs over CONUS .
